Cheap is not the same as free
Beds24 is inexpensive per unit and earns its reputation: the channel manager, PMS, booking engine and payment processing are all in the base price. But cheap per unit is not cheap at 20 rooms, and it is not free at any size. Their calculator returns about €64.90 a month for a 20-room property, which is the point where Tribii costs nothing at all.
What the pay-as-you-go extras add up to
Beds24 charges for what you use, which is fair and transparent, but the line items stack: €0.55 a month per OTA connection, €2 a month per additional user login, €19 a month to serve your booking page on your own subdomain, €0.10 per SMS. A 20-room property with a few channels, two staff logins and its own subdomain is comfortably past €85 a month before anything else.
Depth versus getting started
Beds24 is unusually deep for the money, with a mature API and heavy automation, and reviewers consistently note the trade-off: a lot of configuration and an interface that takes learning. Tribii aims at the hotelier who wants to publish a bookable site and take direct bookings the same afternoon, with AI onboarding importing the setup. Both are valid; they are not the same job.
